What’s really interesting is that you not only design but you are also very passionate about editorials and photography. Which came first and what drew you to them?

Well, fashion has always been an outlet for self-expression for me, it's something I naturally always gravitated to growing up. The editorials came about when I got back into doing photography again and while I was taking classes over at FIT to brush up on my skills, I learned about fashion editorials and thought it was pretty dope how you can create a story using fashion as it's main focus.

We’ve seen that you’ve made a small collection under the title SENSZ Studios, could you tell us about its conception, how it came about and what it represents to you.

SENSZ Studios is something I created to put a name on the pieces I've made for myself, others, and for my editorials. I don't consider it to be a label of any sort at least for now lol but a way to get lost in my own imagination combining street wear with business attire, youth culture, fine art, and elements of the working class. As far as for my editorials I create my own custom pieces to help with the story of the editorial.

What is your approach to fashion editorials? And can you share a little about some of your past editorials?

My approach for my editorials come from current movements, and topics I feel strongly about as well as moods or vibes I'm trying to express.

The jacket you made with Francisco Goya’s “Saturn Devouring his Son” on the back was one of your pieces that definitely caught our attention. Did you choose to put that piece on the back for any particular reason?

The "painter's denim jacket" was something I came up with during work since I also paint other people's homes as a side hustle but nonetheless for this recent editorial I wanted to mix the fine arts with elements of our working class. Goya's painting symbolizes Saturn being afraid of his son becoming more powerful them him, therefore he chooses to eat him in comparison to today's society and how rising minorities are being trapped in glass ceilings in many of our workplaces.

What are your short term or long term goals with your creativity?

My short term goal is to work for a fashion house or ad agency that will allow me to be me just me, and take what I know to another level with a design team to enhance brand direction. Also to learn of course!

My long term goal is to build a creative studio to help companies, artists, brands with direction and experiences.

If you had one thing you can tell your audience, what would it be?

This is fucking mental therapy honestly lol :) but if you're looking for a more formal response I simply do it for the love of the sport.
